Philosophy art and smart talks

I am originally from Italy, I then moved to Prague in 2016 for a Ph.D. at the faculty of Environmental Science, which I concluded successfully in March this year. Meanwhile, I had started another PhD in philosophy hoping I would find a more imaginative space than sciences', but, alas, I was wrong: I found in philosophy the same restriction that I found in environmental science and that made me think that what I am missing is to dedicate myself entirely in an artistic endeavour. I will continue the PhD in philosophy, which still allows me to have a lot of spare time to integrate it with other activities. The subject I am working on for this study is 'the genus loci in romantic poetry', and it brings together my previous studies in the environmental field with the interests I developed in philosophy and literature. In particular, from philosophy, I am indebted to the thinking of Giles Delueze, and, from English literature, Shelley and Keats, with a recent fascination for Elizabethan drama.
